TERMS & CONDITIONS - APPENDIX 1

1. Insurance against all risk to be covered by hirer.
2. The hirer shall insure the equipment throughout the hire period at full replacement value against loss, damage, fire, marine risks and third party risks.
3. Rental charges include monthly servicing from Monday to Saturday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, and attendance to breakdown due to machine fault.
4. Rental charges exclude cranage for loading and unloading at site, diesel, electrical installation, outgoing power cable, site permit, repair due to mishandling, public liability insurance and equipment all risks.
5. Minimum rental period shall follow the rental period stated in this quotation.
6. Rental period is effective once the equipment leaves GIGAMACH SDN. BHD. store and terminates once the equipment has been returned to GIGAMACH SDN. BHD. store.
7. Maximum working hour of equipment shall be 10 hours per day / 300 hours per month. Any extra usage shall be charged on overtime rate. For 24 hours usage, hirer must rent 2 units unless otherwise agreed.
8. Attendance to breakdown due to fault of the hirer is chargeable.
9. Response time for breakdown shall be within 48 hours. No rental fee deduction shall apply within the response lead time.
10. One-to-one exchange may be arranged if the machine cannot be resolved within the response lead time, subject to availability and site condition.
11. In case equipment is damaged due to hirer's fault, GIGAMACH SDN. BHD. has the right to take back the equipment for repair or replacement at the cost of hirer.
12. Daily checking before using shall be carried out by hirer, including engine oil, radiator water, battery water and battery charging level where applicable. Any abnormal condition must be isolated, tagged and reported immediately.
13. Off hire notice must be given in writing at least 1 working day in advance.
